Vittala Temple, Hampi, Kerala, India

"So far, so deeply."
Returning to India.
Comparing the pleasure of immersion in the culture of India with information about South Africa, I begin to understand the depth of knowledge and information about India is simply breathtaking. And I'm glad that there are SE and I can share my research with you, my dear friends!
So, Hampi and now the Vittalf Temple. I was very happy there. Maybe from the fact that it was the end of the day, may because there were not many people, I do not know. But I got the real pleasure sitting on the steps of the hall with 100 columns music.
Temple, also called Sri Vittala located  near Hampi market and is considered the most majestic and beautiful construction of Vijayanagara Empire. The pace of the country's economy have been so positive that by the 16th century it flourished. Temple Vittala began to build at this time, during the reign of Krishnadevaraya (1509-1529 years), the ruler of the empire Vidzhayanogarov. Dedicated to the temple deity Vittala, who is considered an avatar of Vishnu.
The temple was not completed, but that it is no less beautiful. His column when tapped publish music and is an important tourist attraction of the Temple. Internal Vittal rooms are decorated with original figures of dancers and musicians, it is not uncommon for Indian temples. However, Vittala able not only to represent the music, but also the sound: a unique tool of thin mini-columns plays all seven notes.
The construction of the temple dedicated to the god Vishnu. One of the halls  was named "Hall of hundred columns" - it carried out the wedding. It is believed that before and a temple chariot and located in front of it, been decorated paint on mineral basis, which can protect from the weather. Some sources write that originally the stone chariot wheel rotated. During rotation people use to  make a wish. Inside is the chariot picture of Garuda bird.
Location of Vittala temple mentioned in the epic Ramayana, which tells the story of the abduction of Sita from Rama is the king of these places.
